Terms & Conditions
All Invoices for work carried out are to be paid in full within 7 days from the date on presented invoice at time of completion.
As stated upon invoice presented to you and by signing this you agree to our terms and conditions to pay for all work and parts required for the repairs within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
and that any estimate given is provisional and all repairs are undertaken on a cash basis
( payment on completion of repairs) not on a credit basis unless this has been formally agreed with Hewitt Auto Repairs before job commencement. Any additional repair work found to be
necessary will be authorised between us and the customer before any extra work is commenced or parts ordered. All parts for any repairs will remain the property of Hewitt Auto Repairs and parts will be removed from the vehicle in the even of non payment.
Payment of invoices
We will invoice you at time of completion. Time for payment will be of the essence and arranged for a maximum of 7days as stated in our Terms & Conditions– all parts remain property of the Hewitt Auto Repairs until paid in full. A late payment fee will be applied as follows
£40 for invoices up to £999.00 £70 invoices £1000-£999.99 and £100 invoices of £10.000 upwards this will apply after 7 days of non payment on a daily rate 8% above base rate. Failure to pay outstanding balance within agreed time in our Terms & Conditions will result in breach of contract and we reserve the right to remove parts that have not been paid for.
We reserve the right to remove any parts fitted by us if not paid in full at extra cost to yourself and will then seek to recover payment through courts if not paid within 14days from date of first invoice that was issued. Further action will be taken to recover the outstanding balance and charges will be added to this amount. No Cheques will be accepted – this is due to past dealings.
